Even a blind squirrel finds a nut twice a day

He mixed the sayings “even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile” and “even a broken clock is right twice a day”, both meaning someone who is misguided can still be correct by luck or by chance. Both idioms start with “even a” which probably created the mash up. A big thanks to Tim Stueve for hearing this one and passing it on!
I like the graphic as much as the malaphor!
The quote “Even a blind squirrel is right twice a day” is a quote from a popular video game from 2010. There is a chance that your colleague was probably one of the 25 million + people who purchased and played the game.
